The BAC is proud to welcome our newest Yoga Instructor Shannon Stevenson.
Shannon has recently completed her Yoga training in Toronto and is now completing her work placement here at the BAC. Shannon is qualified to teach the disciplines of Kundalini and Hatha. Please take this opportunity to try one of her fantastic classes. Kundalini Yoga Kundalini yoga classes are a dynamic blend of postures, breathing, mantras, music and meditation. Practicing Kundalini yoga teaches you the art of relaxation and self-healing, bringing balance in the body and mind. A typical Kundalini yoga class will have a particular set of exercises for a certain purpose, along with a short relaxation and meditation. Hatha Yoga attempts to balance mind and body via physical exercises, controlled breathing, and the calming of the mind through relaxation and meditation.
